Unlike other brands' PCM vests, this one from IZI allows you to choose the number and placement of cooling elements, increasing comfort. You can choose 150-gram or 250-gram cooling elements with a temperature of 12, 18, 24, or 30 degrees Celsius.

Made from 100% cotton with a class 3 FR3 flame retardant finish, the PCM01 vest will not melt on contact with fire and can be worn under safety clothing. It features 8 pockets for flexible cooling elements.

Choose the Right Cooling Element

Cooling elements are available in temperatures of 12, 18, 24, and 30 degrees. It is recommended to choose an element about 15 degrees below the operating temperature. For example, for 40 degrees, opt for a 24-degree pad.

The pads contain an environmentally friendly, non-flammable water and salt solution, ensuring safe use.

PCM (Phase Change Material)

PCM materials release energy as they transition from solid to liquid and vice versa. The pads cool as they become liquid. Over the course of 2 to 4 hours of use, they gradually become more flexible.

The advantage of the PCM01 is that the weight of the pads is distributed across the upper body. With eight 150-gram pads, the vest weighs 1,550 grams. With eight 250-gram pads, it weighs 2,350 grams. Thanks to its snug fit, you'll almost forget you're wearing it.
