HYDROGEL-COOL ©

At humidity below 90%, HYDROGEL-Cool© is the perfect cooling solution from IZI ® BodyCooling . It is also the world champion in terms of cooling duration: 72 hours of evaporative cooling! From 30 minutes to 2 hours as an ice vest!

How it works:

Super absorbent polymers (SAPs) are placed in sealed pockets between two layers of fabric. When the SAPs (hard polymer grains) come into contact with water, they transform into a soft hydrogel. Thanks to the sealing technology, hydrogel leakage is prevented. Then, the water absorbed inside the sealed pockets begins to evaporate, causing cooling. The sweating process is simulated. Once the water has evaporated, simply reactivate with water: as easy as that (IZI)!

DRY-COOL ©

The DRY-COOL© technology, patented by IZI ® BodyCooling, is a unique and super absorbent cooling material offering a high standard of evaporative cooling. The DRY-COOL© panels on the front and back of the vest are able to retain water for 24 to 72 hours and provide cooling where it is needed thanks to specially treated fabrics that have been used in the most efficient way possible, thus optimizing the cooling surface and therefore your cooling experience. This DRY-COOL© technology works perfectly in a high humidity environment (< 90% RH).

FLEX PCM-COOL©

At high humidity in the surrounding atmosphere, FLEX PCM-COOL© products cool the body through a different cooling process. Heat is absorbed or released when the material changes from a flexible paste to a more liquid material and vice versa.

Phase change materials (PCMs) are capable of storing and releasing large amounts of energy and are classified as latent heat storage units.

The FLEX PCM-COOL © patented by IZI ® BodyCooling is non-flammable, unlike our competitors' paraffin-based PCMs, which are highly flammable. This makes the PCM01 vest suitable for use by professionals such as welders and firefighters. It's also comfortable and easy to activate thanks to its flexibility.
